Many cartoon artists base their characters on circles. Researchers tells us that the circle is the easiest shape for us to draw. The simple characters exhibited here are all built on joined circles. Teaching young artist (and in some cases their teachers) how to cartoon and then to animate and to tell a story through their short animation was, to say the least, fun. Computers have taken some of the repetitive work out of animation and have extend the skills of the artist. If I could go back and start over I would strongly consider becoming an animator.
The mouse to the left can be animated by clicking on the mouse himself or using the controls beneath the box containing the mouse. You may operate the animation as often as you chose, but give the procedure time to sequence all the way though (4 sec.) before starting it over again.
I probably will add a second or even a third short animation. Keep checking this site for new additions.
